Excellence in Motion

A Kentucky video production co. for hire

Traditionally, video companies put aside the century of wisdom from  Hollywood to make your corporate video.  That is what makes RedFox a "motion picture" company instead of a "video production" business. Our goal is to bridge the gap between businesses and artists. Too often we see commercials and web videos made by people who don't understand the craft of filmmaking. There is no reason your organization's videos can't be as good as Hollywood's. At the end of the day we want to turn your "videos" into films.

Every time I go to a movie, it’s magic, no matter what the movie’s about.
— Steven Spielberg

Everyone has a story...

The foundation of every good film is story. It's so incredibly important, and the lovely thing is that everyone has a story. Whether it is a: commercial, testimonial video, wedding, concert, or anything else. You have a unique story and it deserves to be heard.

Putting art back in business...

No matter how much we want to, we can't be the best at everything. RedFox is the premiere film production company for two reasons: Artistic Vision and Goal Oriented. A film project with RedFox is an experience from start to finish. We know what it is like to run a business, so we can speak to you from a business perspective. Other companies will only see the artistic side and miss the entire point of the project. Our artists are the best in their field and have a passion for the craft. Other companies focus just on the business side creating a final product that feels empty and dry. Let us take your needs and objectives and create art from it, art that moves people to action.

I think one of the privileges of being a filmmaker is the opportunity to remain a kind of perpetual student.

Our Secret Recipe...

Just because we make "films" doesn't mean they have to be expensive. So, how do we make a movie on a budget? These are the four "Moneyball" areas that set us apart. (Brad Pitt not included.)

It all starts with a script. We talk with you to figure out your objectives and goals. We establish a tone, length, and style. Screenwriting is the foundation of everything we do here at RedFox. It allows us to try and take everything else we do to the next level with the confidence that the audience will get the message.

With a script in hand we begin to break down what is necessary to turn the page into reality. Storyboards, script breakdowns, and budgets are all part of the job. The director adds a cinematic creative vision to the page and the producer makes sure they have what they need to make it happen.

The cinematographer works with the director to take his creative vision and put it together visually. With a vast knowledge of cameras, lenses, grip equipment, and lighting the cinematographer is fundamental to helping give it that RedFox flare.

Nearly as important as the screenwriter, the editor takes all of the footage and cuts it. A good editor can make your project look like a million bucks, and a bad editor can make it look like garbage. Needless to say, we only have good editors here at RedFox.

There are no rules in filmmaking. Only sins. And the cardinal sin is dullness.
— Frank Capra
